Advocating for your family's best health can be exhausting!
It's easy to get overwhelmed with the wealth of information available and well meaning advice from family and friends. It's easy to second guess yourself when a medical professional is telling you otherwise. But here's what I found to be the most important thing to remember while trying to navigate for yourself or your child...
⏩TRUST YOUR GUT.
Providers should be knowledgeable in their field of expertise but you are the expert on your child. Don't be afraid of asking questions! If something doesn't feel right, trust your gut and seek the input of another provider. It's not being rude- it's being smart, responsible and brave.
You got this, good luck! 😉
Have you ever had to question a treatment plan or reach out for a second opinion?
