tongue ties can't be determined by just a picture!

We need both a structural and FUNCTIONAL evaluation to determine how it looks, moves and functions. Diagnosing from a picture just won't cut it. So if a provider diagnoses a tie without actually getting in the mouth and seeing how it impacts function, ask if they could refer you to someone who specializes in oral function!
