Signs of Sleep Disordered Breathing in Kids

Instead of asking "how does your child sleep?" Try asking these questions that will help you determine if a child has signs of sleep disordered breathing.

🛌Does your child toss and turn or wake up in a tangle of sheets?

🛌Does your child have their mouth open while sleeping?

🛌Does your child breathe loudly?

🛌Does your child wake up to use the bathroom or have nightime accidents?

🛌Does your child seem exhausted or hyperactive?

🛌Does your child have anxiety/behavioral concerns?

🛌Does your child grind their teeth?

Is your child a light sleeper?

🛌Does your child have a hard time falling asleep/staying asleep?

🛌Does your child sleep walk or sleep talk?

🛌Does your child wake up moody or groggy?

Did you answer yes to any of these questions? It may be a good idea to reach out to an airway focused provider to ensure your child is getting good quality sleep!

Let me know if you have questions!
